THL T5 Android Smartphone Price, Complete Specs, Features : Affordable 4.7-Inch Dual Core Handset with Swappable Shells
A few days ago, I had a conversation over the phone with my friend Kim Lato and she told me that this is one of the best selling handsets currently in her online store. It's not really a powerhouse release in terms of specs but I guess its pocket-friendly price makes it very attractive to a lot of consumers.
With SRP of only Php 4,499, THL T5 is the most affordable smartphone in the Chinese company's line-up of devices this 2014. Being so affordable, this phone presents a perfect opportunity for budget-conscious Pinoy gadget fans to experience the wonders of a THL release without having to break the bank.
For that amount, users already get rather decent features and technical specifications. The device flaunts a 4.7 inch qHD IPS display underneath scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass 3 panel, 5 MegaPixel autofocus camera with LED flash, 3 MegaPixel front cam, and an HD video recorder.
Inside the hood, THL T5 runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system - with slightly modified vanilla UI replete with more youthful colors and icon designs - with its Dual Core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU and Mali-400MP GPU based MediaTek MT6572W SoC, handles multitasking with 512 MB of RAM, and has 4GB of expandable internal storage. Not much considering that we're already in the Octa Core era of Android phones, but given T5's low price tag, who's complaining?
