O+ Air Octa Core Smartphone Vic Sotto "Lumi Display" Television Commercial, Out Now!
I'm not sure if you were able to catch it -- but last week on GMA7's top-rating and long-running noontime show Eat Bulaga, American handset company O+ launched its newest O+ Air television commercial featuring Bossing Vic Sotto.
In the TVC, Bossing Vic talked about one the key features of the company's new flagship Octa Core Android smartphone, the Lumi Display.
As I've explained earlier on this blog, "Lumi" is O+'s answer to Samsung's AMOLED and Sony's Triluminos screen technologies combining clear, crisp, and vibrant display quality with energy efficiency. The Dual Crystal Luminiscent Film, which - I would say - looks like a combination of ePaper and SuperAMOLED, really delivers an enjoyable viewing and gaming experience as reflected in Bossing's TVC.
Paired with OGS (One Glass Solution) technology, Lumi Display allows O+ Air to be extremely thin - measuring only 6.8 millimeters at its thickest point - even thinner than Apple iPhone 5s.
Lumi Display is amazing but it's just one of the many selling points of O+ Air. This top-of-the-line release also runs on a True Octa Core chipset - the ARM Cortex A7 and Mali 450 based MediaTek MT6592 SoC - that's both powerful and energy-efficient as it can run just one core or all eight depending on the requirement of a game or application.
With official suggested retail price of Php 15,995, O+ Air is now available at all O+ Concept Stores, Kiosks, and authorized dealers nationwide. Thankfully, though, the US-based company is currently running a promo for this handset, which brings its price down to just Php 13,995 -- that's a whopping two thousand bucks less!
Just like its co-flagship best-selling siblings O+ Imagine and O+ Fab Elite, O+ Air ships with exclusive Sennheiser earphones made specifically for the American company's high-end releases. Interested about this cool smartphone? Read our Initial O+ Air Review!

Based on its Antutu Benchmark Score of 26,599, O+ Air is in between HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 2013 flagship handsets in terms of overall performance.
