Samsung Galaxy Trend Lite Duos GT-S7392 Price, Complete Specs, Key Features, Availability
Our local handset brands MyPhone, Cherry Mobile, and Starmobile are now totally dominating the Php 4,000 to Php 6,000 smartphone price echelon with stellar 2014 Quad-Core releases like MyPhone Agua Rio, Cherry Mobile Omega Aeon, and Starmobile Quest.
If you have 6,000 bucks and you're looking for a reliable day-to-day phone, I'd really recommend that you check out any of those devices (aside from a few good ones from international brands O+, Gionee, and THL that give great value for money). They're all good. But if you're a big Samsung fan and you're not keen on supporting these Pinoy handset companies, then this is the Korean Giant's phone that your money can get you.
Donning an affordable price tag of roughly Php 5,990, Samsung Galaxy Trend Lite is a Dual SIM Dual Standby smartphone with a 4-inch WVGA TFT display and runs TouchWiz-skinned Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system with a Single Core 1 GHz ARM Cortex A9 CPU based Broadcom chipset that's complemented by 512 MB of RAM and 8 GB of expandable storage.
According to Samsung, GT-S7392's 4-inch display "can comfortably accommodate web pages, long emails, detailed photos and videos" while its Dual SIM Active capability "provides you more options by choosing which SIM card to use. It’s double the convenience without the hassle of having to juggle two phones whether you choose one for business or personal calls, data or call plans or which is the best service provider for you."
In terms of imaging capabilities, the handset - powered by a removable 1,500 Li-Ion mAh battery pack - has a 3 MegaPixel fixed focus camera at the back and a VGA video recorder. And as for connectivity, the phone supports WiFi, Bluetooth, and 3G HSPA+.
Samsung Galaxy Trend Lite is now available at the Korean company's partner dealers nationwide. As far as I know, Automatic Centre and Abenson Mobile are now selling it for Php 1,115 per month for 6 months installment plan. The smartphone is available in two colors, namely, Ceramic White and Midnight Black.
Now obviously, in terms of specs, this release has got nothing on the three phones I mentioned at the top of this post. It's vastly inferior to the trio in that sense. But again, if you're big Samsung fan and you want your phone to have that logo or if you're simply not comfortable carrying a Pinoy phone (for whatever reason - valid or odd, deep or shallow), then by all means, get this one.

The oblong Home Button - similar to that of SGS5, Samsung Galaxy Grand 2, and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 - tells you that it's Q4 2013 to 2014 release

SGTrendLite flaunts a faux metal design accent running down its sides.
