Pinay Minor's Sexy Selfie on Facebook, Stolen and Printed on Beerhouse Tarpaulin

Girls, be careful when posting your selfies on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram -- especially selfies taken at the beach or those showing some skin.

Apparently, there are evil people online who are always on the look-out for sexy selfies by young women that they can steal and use to promote their nasty services and activities.

Just last week, a girl from Manila got the shock of her life when her friend informed her that her selfie - which she innocently posted on Facebook for the enjoyment of her friends just days ago - was stolen from the site and was printed on a tarpaulin promoting some obscure beerhouse in Santa Cruz, Manila.

"Kinonfirm ko po kung talagang totoo, sinurveillance ko po sya tapos saka po ako pumunta dito sa City Hall para ireklamo sila; Kasi kahihiyan ng anak ko yun. Di naman po nagtatrabaho yung anak ko dun eh. Talagang napakalaking kahihiyan. Hiyang hiya. Nakakahiya," shared the mother of the victim to GMA7's morning news broadcast, Unang Balita.

Perhaps wanting to attract more loyal patrons -- mostly dirty old men, the manager of the said establishment used the selfie of the young girl without any permission whatsoever and plastered it on a tarpaulin posted in front of the beerhouse.

So how do you avoid such horrible thing from being done to you? According to Sr. Supt. Bernard Tambaoan - Caloocan City Chief of Police, "Unang una, dapat ang [iyong] setting is naka-private at saka dapat [...] wag basta basta mag-aaccept ng friend na hindi [mo] naman kakilala."

On the other hand, the victim - now wiser so as not to post more sexy selfies on her social networking accounts - shared, "Sa mga babae na mahilig magpicture, wag nyo masyado ipupublic yung mga [photos] nyo kasi madaming loko-loko ngayon na nangunguha ng picture sa Facebook tapos ginagamit sa mga masasamang [bagay]."
