Huawei Honor 3X Philippines Price, Full Specs, Antutu Bechmark Score, Features
Huawei Honor 3X, the first ever smartphone from the Chinese electronics giant to be powered by a True Octa Core processor and the first midrange phablet from the company, is now officially available in the Philippines.
Priced at only Php 15,990 and out now at all partner retailers and Huawei Stores nationwide (my favorite being the one at SM North EDSA Annel), Huawei Honor 3X is made for young consumers who want to experience the benefits of powerhouse features and specs without having to shell out too much cash.
Features-wise, Huawei Honor 3X sports a massive 5.5 inch HD IPS display, an 13 MegaPixel autofocus camera with BSI sensor and LED flash, Full HD 1080p video recorder, a large 3,000 mAh battery pack, 3G HSPA+ connectivity support, Dual SIM Dual Standby capability (Regular Mini SIM + microSIM), and a stellar 5 MegaPixel front-facing cam for selfies, which - as I've mentioned in my TechPinas Badge of Excellence Awardee Huawei Ascend P6 review - is one of the features I love most about Huawei's upper midrange and flagship releases.
Under the hood, Huawei Honor 3X runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS skinned by the company's very own sleek, app-drawer-free Emotion user interface with its powerful and energy-efficient Octa Core 1.7 GHz ARM Cortex A7 Mali-450MP4 GPU based MediaTek MT6592 SoC. This chipset combined with the handset's 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB of ROM guarantee a smooth and lag-free gaming and overall mobile performance that's well-reflected in the phone's rather high Antutu Benchmark Score in the area of 27,678.
Known mostly for its Ascend smartphones around the world, Chinese brand Huawei is transforming its Honor handset series into an independent smartphone brand that targets young mobile internet users.
"The Honor brand will focus on providing high-quality devices for mobile Internet, and its target consumer is the young generation," said Mr. Charles Wu, Country Manager of Huawei's Consumer Business Group.
Expected to reach mobile Internet users aged between 18 and 30, the Honor brand will not only produce smartphones, but also product tablets, set-top boxes and smart televisions in the future.

I'd say Huawei Honor 3X is ideal for consumers who are looking for an affordable smartphone-tablet hybrid with a large yet crisp display, a powerful processor, and a great front-facing camera with an amazing auto face enhancement feature.
