LG L Fino Philippines Price Php 7,990, Complete Specs, Features
The freshly released LG L Fino, I believe, is specifically made by the Korean company for young gadget consumers who are keen on experiencing unique hardware and software features found on LG's high-end smartphones but are not yet ready to spend more than Php 10,000 on a handset.
Priced at only Php 7,990 in the Philippines and hitting store shelves across the archipelago within the next few days, this phone should provide budget-conscious LG fans with a great introduction to the basic elements of the company's UX interface for Android as well as the wonders of the RearKey.
First seen on the LG G2 2013 flagship best-seller, the RearKey enables the user - regardless of whether he or she is left or right handed - to switch the power on and off, activate the QuickMemo, and use the camera more conveniently. Based on a consumer behavior study conducted by LG’s Research and Development group, the Rear Key gives users more control and easier access since this is where their index fingers are naturally located. This also results in fewer dropped phones when adjusting the volume while on a call.
LG L Fino's flat user interface looks similar to that of LG G3 -- albeit greatly watered down. Nonetheless, it comes with the same icon set, color scheme, and even wallpapers. So I guess, if you're still trying to save money to get a more high end release by LG but you're already feeling a tad impatient - like you can no longer contain your desire to make a purchase, you can get this device in the meantime to familiarize yourself with the latest version of the UX interface.
On top of all that, this handset also comes with cool imaging capabilities that I'm sure the young and young-at-hearts will appreciate. At the back, you will find LG G Fino's 8 MegaPixel autofocus camera with LED flash that snaps photos really fast - thanks to the new 'touch and shoot' feature that lets you focus on a subject and take a shot at the same time all with one touch on the screen. There's also a VGA front cam for selfies with 'front flash' mode wherein the camera app gets a thick light-pink virtual frame with brightness on full blast, illuminating your face for crisp and clear selfies even when taken indoors or in low light conditions.
Those are the highlights of this lower midrange release, TP Friends. Other key features of LG L Fino include its 4.5 inch WVGA IPS display, Quad Core 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A7 and Adreno 305 based Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset running Android 4.4.2 KiKat OS, 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of expandable storage, 3G HSPA+ support, Dual SIM Dual Standby capability, and a 1,900 mAh Li-Ion battery pack delivering around 345 hours of standby and 15 hours of talk time.
