Xiaomi Pop-Up Store in SM Megamall Will Be Open from October 23 to 29, 2014
I'm not really sure if Chinese electronics company Xiaomi has done something like this in other countries where it's holding its business since they primarily operate through e-Commerce and via strong partnerships with online sellers --
But perhaps to boost its presence and sales in the Philippines, Xiaomi has decided to open a pop-up physical store in SM Megamall from October 23 to 29, 2014.
The Mi Pop-Up Store will be located at the SM Megamall Upper G/F Building B and there, customers can learn more about Xiaomi and experience Mi products in person, purchase the Xiaomi Mi3 for Php 10,599 and the Xiaomi Redmi 1S for Php 5,599, shop for cool accessories to go with their Mi smartphones, and even participate in fun activities.
I've already featured Xiaomi rather extensively on TechPinas, but if it's your first time to hear about it: Xiaomi was founded in 2010 by serial entrepreneur Lei Jun, who believed that high-quality technology doesn't need to cost a fortune. Xiaomi has brought together smart people from Microsoft, Google, Kingsoft, Motorola, Yahoo and other IT companies from around the world to bring that vision to life.
The Chinese company creates remarkable hardware, software, and Internet services for and with the help of its Mi fans around the world. Xiaomi incorporates their feedback into the brand's product range, which includes the Mi 3, Redmi 1S, Mi TV, Mi Box and other accessories. But what makes Xiaomi truly special is that it always strives to find the most direct ways to sell to customers to keep their prices competitive.
Xiaomi Mi3 is company's highest performing smartphone in the Philippines, consistently ranked at the top of industry benchmarks since its first launch. Its Android-based platform - MIUI - is a live operating system constantly improving with weekly software updates. MIUI is incredibly intuitive while at the same time offers power users a high degree of customization.
