LG G3 Stylus Philippines Price Php 16,990, Full Specs, Release Date, Key Features
Hot on the heels of the very successful launch of LG Electronics’ new flagship LG G3 smartphone, the global electronics giant now excites the Philippine market with two new more affordable smartphones from its G3 series, one of which is this: the LG G3 Stylus.
The LG G3 Stylus is a pen-enabled smartphone that inherits the core DNA of the acclaimed LG G3, brings a premium Stylus experience in a smart priced package.
LG’s proprietary Rubberdium stylus pen slides inside the G3 Stylus, which feels comfortable in any hand -- thanks to its Floating Arc design language (with gradually tapered edges, thin bezels and metallic skin back cover that was first introduced on the LG G3) that perfectly complements the phone’s 5.5-inch qHD IPS display.
Pair it with LG’s QuickMemo+ to take notes or draw directly on images or maps in a breeze. The stylus is also compatible with a number of third-party handwriting and drawing apps.
“By offering the stylus functionality and the same premium user experience and design heritage of the G3, we are confident that the G3 Stylus will satisfy customers who desire a spacious display and a stylus pen, and the same features well loved in the G3 – all for a very affordable price,” shares Mr. Jay Won, Vice President for LG Mobile Philippines.
Aside from the 5.5 inch 540 x 960 pixels IPS LCD and the Rubberdium pen, LG G3 Stylus is likewise equipped with a 13 MegaPixel autofocus camera with LED flash at the back, 1.3 MP front cam for selfies, Full HD video recorder, 3G HSPA+ connectivity support, and a Dual SIM Dual Standby capability.
Under the hood, LG G3 Stylus runs UX-skinned Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system with its Quad Core 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6582 chipset incorporating four ARM Cortex A7 cores and Mali 400 GPU. This SoC is paired with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of ROM that can be beefed up using the phone's microSD card, which supports up to 32 GB.
Additional UX features that have become standard offerings across LG’s latest smartphones including Dual Window, Smart Keyboard and Knock Code are - of course - also available on the LG G3 Stylus.
The G3 Stylus will be offered in the Philippines with near field communication (NFC) capability in three colors: Black, White and Gold. LG’s newest stylus-powered device is priced at only Php 16,990, half that of a comparable premium smartphone with stylus pen, allowing consumers to enjoy a premium stylus experience at a more affordable price.
LG G3 Stylus will exclusively be available at Abenson and MemoXpress stores nationwide within this month, November 2014, while all other dealers and concept stores will soon carry these two new smartphones starting December 2014.

We have the unit itself, the travel charger, microUSB to USB cable, standard earphones, the 3,000 mAh battery pack, warranty certificate and user guide.

There's a slot for the stylus on the upper left corner of the back panel of the phablet. And while we're looking at this photo, notice that the LG G3 Stylus also flaunts LG's patented RearKey, which debuted on the very successful LG G2.
