O+ 360 Touch Series Smartphones, Announced!
Not to be outdone by its competitors in the handset industry, American electronics company O+ USA today announced two smartphones here in the Philippines that are part of its new 360 Touch Series line of devices, flaunting a key feature that you won't find in other phones that are out in the market.
In many ways, O+ 360 Touch phones are similar to other handset models by the company that are in the same price bracket. They come with almost the same set of technical specifications and innovations like O+ Air Share, Peace to Selfie, and O+ Air Shuffle. But what sets them apart is that they come with O+'s new 360 Touch Technology that allows you to navigate the phone's interface by swiping your finger on the touch-sensitive back panel of each device.
According to our friends from O+, touchscreen smartphone owners who like using their phones with one hand will find 360 Touch Technology particularly handy as it makes it easier for them to take photos and also to open applications. Interesting, eh? Off hand, I'm looking forward to playing with a unit so I can show you guys the breadth of things that you can do with this fresh innovation.
As you can see in the poster above, the two new smartphones that O+ announced are the O+ 360 and the cute O+ 360 Alpha -- with the former being the bigger and more feature packed version of the latter.
O+ 360, which sells for Php 6,395, is equipped with a 5-inch 960 x 540 qHD IPS display, 8 MegaPixel autofocus camera with LED flash at the back, 5 MegaPixel front cam with Selfie Fix technology, and a 2,000 mAh battery pack. It runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat with a Quad Core 1.3 GHz ARM Cortex A7 and Mali 400 based MediaTek MT6582 VW and has 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of ROM.
On the other hand, O+ 360 Alpha goes for only Php 4,995. And for that amount, users can also get a device with a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display, 5 MegaPixel autofocus camera with LED flash, 5 MP front cam with Selfie Fix technology that instantly enhances your skintone and facial features after taking a self photo, and a 1,700 mAh battery pack.
