Cherry Mobile Me Vibe : Very Affordable Octa Core Phone, Available Exclusively at Lazada

Pinoy electronics giant Cherry Mobile continues to build and reinforce partnerships with major players in the local and international tech industry. And to kick-off 2015, the company is launching a new Octa Core Android smartphone as part of its new collaboration with online retail outlet, Lazada.

Set to be offered exclusively via Lazada Philippines starting tomorrow January 9, 2015, Cherry Mobile Me Vibe is currently the most powerful smartphone in the CM's Me-Series, which gives buyers a free personalized back cover to reflect and celebrate their personal taste and style.

Cherry Mobile has yet to officially announce the handset's technical specs and exact retail price. However, according to our sources, CM Me Vibe is set to be the most affordable Octa Core smartphone in the Philippines upon launch.

As for the handset's features, we're hearing that it will sport a 5-inch 540 x 960 pixels qHD IPS display, a 13 MegaPixel autofocus camera with LED flash, 2 MP front cam for selfies, Full HD Video Recorder, USB OTG support, and a 1,800 mAh Li-Ion battery pack. Under the hood, the Dual SIM (Regular Mini) Dual Standby device runs its slightly-customized vanilla Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system with a 1.4 GHz Octa Core Mediatek 6592M chipset incorporating eight ARM Cortex A7 CPUs and a Mali 450MP GPU, has 1 GB of RAM, and comes with 8 GB of ROM that you can beef up using the microSD card slot supporting up to 32GB.

So how much will cost exactly? The speculated price of Cherry Mobile Me Vibe is Php 3,999. It's not yet official but if it turns out accurate, the smartphone will indeed be the most pocket-friendly Octa Core device that's available in the country -- if not anywhere in the world.
