Lenovo A328 Philippines Price Php 4,999, Complete Specs, Features : Is It The Right Smartphone For You?
From having an official suggested retail price of Php 5,999 when it was launched in the Philippines last September 2014, you can now get Lenovo A328 for only Php 4,999 -- that's a whopping Php 1,000 less, if my math serves me right. Hehe.
Donning such an affordable price tag, A328 - I would say - is ideal for gadget consumers who are looking for a fairly attractive Android smartphone by an international manufacturer that has decent technical specifications and features.
"We want to ensure that Lenovo stays ahead of what the market wants and needs. Everyone has a particular feature, function or look that they want in their smartphone, which is why we are giving more choices to our avid consumers," shared Mr. Michael Ngan, Country General Manager of Lenovo Mobile Philippines.
Looks-wise, the smartphone flaunts a rather elegant design identity replete with subtle metallic accents running down its sides and framing the protruding camera module at the rear. The back plate is made of plastic and has a textured finish.
In terms of specs, Lenovo A328 is equipped with a 4.5-inch 854 x 480 pixels (FWVGA) TN display (not IPS), a 5 MegaPixel fixed focus main camera with LED flash, 2 MP front cam for selfies, HD video recorder, 3G HSPA+ connectivity support, and a 2,000 mAh Li-Ion battery pack that - Lenovo says - is capable of delivering up to 21 hours of talk time.
Under the hood, the phone runs a 'Color UI skinned' Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS sans app drawer with its MediaTek MT6582M chipset incorporating four ARM Cortex A7 cores clocked at 1.3 GHz and a Mali 400 MP2 GPU. It also comes with 1 GB of RAM and 4GB of ROM (1.3 GB user available) that you can convenient beef up using the microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB.
Dual SIM Dual Standby (Dual Regular Mini SIM) Lenovo A328 is available at all Lenovo concept stores, kiosks, and partner retailers nationwide. It's out in two colors, namely, White and Black.
Is it the right phone for you? For 4,999 or even less, you can get a more powerful smartphone by a local manufacturer with a larger displa and better imaging capabilities like Cherry Mobile Me Vibe, which has an Octa Core processor and a 13 MegaPixel autofocus camera at the back. But if you're on a tight budget and you're only keen on getting a handset from an international player, Lenovo A328 could be right for you.
