Samsung Galaxy A5 Smart Postpaid Bundles, Now Available
Samsung Galaxy A5, the Korean company's 2015 aluminum clad ultra-slim midrange smartphone, is now officially available as a bundled smartphone with Smart Postpaid plans!
Made for young (or young-at-heart) consumers, there are three things that are particularly special about this release.
Ultra Slim Construction, Real Metal Frame
Compared to earlier midrange releases by Samsung that lack a real metal side frame and are often thicker than 9 millimeters, the Galaxy A5 features a refined full aluminum case that's only 6.7 mm thin. The polycarbonate back plate comes in a variety of colors, including Pearl White, Midnight Black, Platinum Silver and Champagne Gold, to accommodate the personal style and preference of diverse users.
5 MegaPixel Front Camera for The Clearest Selfies
According to Samsung, the Galaxy A5 offers superior mobile and social experience to young consumers who want to express their unique style while constantly staying connected. Sporting an advanced 5 MegaPixel front-facing camera, taking much clearer selfies is now possible. (In contrast, apart from the recently released Grand Prime, previous mid-level Galaxy phones only had a maximum of 2 MegaPixel front shooters.) Innovative photo-taking features, such as Wide Selfie, Palm Selfie, Animated GIF, Beauty Face Features, and Rear-cam Selfie, also let users capture even more attractive selfies in high resolution. Users can also quickly and easily share photos or videos on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram as the devices support ultra-fast LTE Category 4 network speed standard.
Truly Vivid Display
Apart from mini versions of flagship releases as well as the Galaxy Core Max, Galaxy M, and a couple of other devices, earlier midrange smartphones from Samsung never came with the company's brilliant SuperAMOLED display. With the Galaxy A5, Samsung is officially bringing the extraordinary SuperAMOLED display and Adaptive Display technology to the mid-level echelon to deliver clearer images with deep contrast and better viewing angles for more vivid, colorful content in virtually any environment, even under bright sunlight. On top of that, Samsung Galaxy A5 is equipped with a Quad Core 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex A53 and Adreno 306 GPU based Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 processor for smooth touch response, sleek screen transitions and faster browsing experience. Additionally, the device includes handy and popular features exclusive to Galaxy devices, such as Ultra-Power Saving Mode, Private Mode and Multiscreen, as well as adjustable audio that intelligently adapts and enhances sound output based on the ambient sound.
To complement the phone's 5-inch HD SuperAMOLED display and rather powerful Snapdragon 410 chipset, the Galaxy A5 has 2GB of RAM for seamless multitasking and 16GB of internal storage that can easily be augmented via the microSD card slot supporting up to 64GB. These internal specifications combine to give the handset an Antutu Benchmark Score in the area of 21,474.
You can get Samsung Galaxy A5 from Smart Postpaid via a variety of plans as listed below:
If I were to choose a bundle, I'd probably go with Data Plan 1500, which comes with LTE connection (7GB of data allowance) plus 60 minutes of calls to all networks and 120 free all-net text messages. Not that expensive but already gives me enough of the services I require per month.
