Download Android Lollipop Inspired Themes, Wallpapers for Sony Xperia Smartphones
As part of the changes that the company is implementing in its mobile devices business, Sony has opted to upgrade only its flagship-level Z-series Xperia smartphones to Android 5.0 Lollipop. I know that's not particularly an encouraging or uplifting news for current Xperia E, C, M and T series owners but if anything, it doesn't mean that there's no chance at all for them to experience the benefits of Lollipop (or at least, some of it) on their handsets.
The adventurous ones can always choose to root their smartphones and install a custom ROM that's based on Android Lollipop. And for those who are rather conservative, there are always launchers and themes that mimic the look of the latest version of Android without prompting the user to perform a firmware upgrade from KitKat.
If you own a non-Z-Series Sony Xperia handset with virtual buttons - including Sony Xperia L, C2, M2, E1, among others - here are some themes and wallpapers that you can download and install on your smartphone to make it look like it's already running Lollipop. Of course, the changes will only be superficial but if they can give you good vibes whenever you look at your phone, then I guess they're worth having, right?
