Asus LolliFlash Price is 119,000 Indonesian Rupiahs or Around Php 425 : Works With All Smartphones with 3.5 mm Audio Jack
Aside from launching ZenFone 2 in South East Asia, the Taiwanese electronics company also took the opportunity to introduce their latest line of accessories at the #SeeWhatOthersCantSee Asus event that I attended in Jakarta, Indonesia last April 21, 2015.
One of the new accessories presented at the keynote (and demoed at the exhibit area) that captured my fancy was the Asus LolliFlash, which is a small lollipop-shaped device with Dual Tone LED flash (White + Yellow) that you can connect to your smartphone when taking selfies in not so well-lit environments. You can turn on its bulbs individually or together (with but a press of a button) to match your skin-tone or depending on the ambient light.
Asus LolliFlash comes in five colors, namely, Yellow, Red, Sky Blue, White, and Black. And what's really cool is that you can use with any smartphone - Android, iPhone, BlackBerry, what-have-you - that has a 3.5 millimeter audio jack (ideally, on the top panel) where you can plug it in just to attach it to your handset. It won't really 'communicate' with your phone via that port so you'd still have to control it manually using its sole hardware button.
Asus LolliFlash will be available in South East Asia, which includes the Philippines, around the same time as the ZenFone 2 which should be in May or June 2015. Its official suggested retail price in this region is only 119,000 Indonesian Rupiahs or roughly Php 425 with current conversion.

As you all know, I love to take selfies so these kinds of products really excite me.
Now, you don't have to feel bad that your smartphone doesn't have front-facing flash.

No need to change batteries! You can charge the Asus LolliFlash using any standard microUSB charger.
You can also use this accessory as flashlight or torchlight when recording videos using the main camera to conserve your smartphone's battery.
