Alcatel Flash Plus Philippines Release Date is May 15, 2015 : Exclusively Available at Lazada for Php 6,490
Great news for all of you guys who've been tirelessly messaging me on Facebook and Twitter regarding the local availability of Alcatel Flash Plus. Yesterday, Lazada Philippines finally confirmed that the much-awaited handset will be out for purchase at their online store starting on May 15, 2015 - that's this coming Friday - for only Php 6,490.
Lazada will be holding a flash sale for this smartphone at 12 noon on that day and don't expect it to stay on for too long because the demand this release in the Philippines is rather big. So if you're planning to make an online purchase on the 15th, I'd advise that you be very vigilant and just stay in front of your computer or smartphone as soon as the clock hits 12 o'clock.
What's so special about this model? Why are many Pinoy consumers excited about it? Well, it's by an international brand and it gives you great specs for less. And it doesn't hurt that it looks quite cute too.
As I've shared in my previous Alcatel Flash Plus entry, this model is basically a 5.5 inch HD phablet with a 64-bit Octa Core MediaTek MT6752M chipset, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of ROM, 13 MegaPixel camera with Sony sensor, 8 MegaPixel front cam, Dual SIM Dual LTE support, and a 3,500 mAh battery pack.
After studying the technical specifications table for the Alcatel Flash Plus below, I believe it will be hard for anyone not to call this release a steal -- especially when you consider its budget-friendly price. Personally, love the fact that it has an 8 MegaPixel front cam (as I love to take selfies) and a large battery pack; Again, here's to hoping those features perform well during actual use.
Of course, LTE support on both SIM slots makes the deal a whole lot sweeter. If only the Flash Plus had a Full HD display underneath its scratch-resistant Dragontrail Glass touchscreen, it would have been near perfect; I think that's just about the only thing about this device that will instantly tell you that it's not a high-end model.
