Huawei Honor 4C Price in the Philippines Upon Launch is Php 6,990 : Complete Specs, Key Features
Huawei Honor 4C, which officially became available in the Philippines yesterday - May 7, 2015, is the Chinese company's new midrange handset, crafted specifically with youthful and budget-conscious consumers in mind.
Priced at Php 6,990, the Honor 4C is a good option for Android fans who are on the look out for a fairly affordable yet capable smartphone but - for some reason - aren't quite ready yet to trust a local handset brand with their money.
Personally, in terms of design and features, I'd call the Huawei Honor 4C a rather 'typical' 2015 international release in this product category and price echelon. You see, other than the fact that it's made by a giant multinational electronics company and that it comes with Huawei's very own skin or experience for Android called 'Emotion UI', the Honor 4C has few things about it that make it a standout.
Looks-wise, as you can see in these photos courtesy of MobileReview - it features a simple design identity and construction (made primarily of plastic parts) that I believe most of us are already more than familiar with at this point. In terms of specs, it has a 5-inch HD IPS display, 13 MegaPixel autofocus camera with LED flash, 5 MegaPixel front cam (which is one of the things I like about it on paper), and a rather sizable 2,550 mAh battery pack. Under the hood, it runs its Emotion UI skinned Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS with an Octa Core ARM Cortex A53 and Mali 450-MP4 based Kirin 620 SoC, handles multitasking with 2GB of RAM (which is good), and has 8 GB of internal storage that you can expand using the microSD card slot.
Looking at the Huawei Honor 4C specs list below, one would be easily tempted to say that you can also get the same package on more affordable models by local smartphone companies. Heck, you can even argue that other midrange releases by international brands like the Meizu M1 Note or the upcoming Lenovo K3 Note would be better buys as they support LTE connectivity. Nonetheless, I'm sure Huawei fans - including myself - would still want check out this budget-friendly model; I'm looking forward to trying it out -- and I really hope it exceeds my expectations.
