O+ 360 HD Price is Php 6,395, Key Specs and Features : Affordable HD Android Smartphone with Front Flash for Selfies and Touch-Sensitive Back Panel
Today - May 2, 2015, O+ USA officially released a new midrange Android smartphone that's made specifically for users who want a fairly large handset with high definition display, powerful internal specs, and a great front-cam for selfies as well as a handful of unique, innovative features.
Think of the svelte O+ 360 HD as a smaller version of the powerhouse O+ 360 Extreme. This freshly launched smartphone comes with some of the main selling points of its big brother but is far more budget-friendly and is perhaps more ideal for users with smaller hands.
Being the newest phone in the O+ 360 line, O+ 360 HD also features a touch-sensitive patch on its back cover that you can use to more conveniently take photos using the camera or to navigate applications - including Facebook and Twitter - using just one hand.
In terms of specs, aside from those I've mentioned above, O+ 360 HD is powered by a Quad Core 1.3 GHz MediaTek processor (TBD), handles multitasking with 1 GB of RAM, and has 8 GB of ROM that you can beef up using the microSD card supporting up to 32GB. Running Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, O+ 360 HD has Dual SIM (two microSIM slots) Dual Standby capability, 3G HSPA+ support, and a 2000 mAh battery pack delivering 8.2 hours of talk time, 360 hours of standby, 4 hours of browsing, and 14 hours of music play.
O+ 360 HD is now up for purchase at all O+ USA Concept Stores, kiosks, and partner retailers across the Philippines. It's available in two colors - Blue and Gray - and its official suggested retail price is Php 6,395. For me, for that amount - considering all the unique O+ innovations that it has, the brilliant display, and its stellar imaging capabilities, O+ 360 HD already gives great value for money. Admittedly, in its price category, it's not a leader in terms of specs but it has stellar main-selling points that users will find valuable with day-to-day actual use.

Apart from the handset's crisp and brilliant 5-inch HD IPS display, O+ USA is particularly proud of this release's dual cameras; An 8 MegaPixel autofocus shooter at the back with BSI and LED flash and a 5 MegaPixel autofocus front cam for selfies with Soft LED flash and BSI sensor. "We gave the front cam a soft flash allowing the user to take great looking selfies even in low to zero lighting conditions and our camera even has a built-in Beauty Mode to give you self portraits that are instantly ready for sharing on Facebook or Instagram. We paired the phone's two great cameras with a bright 5-inch HD IPS display so you can better appreciate the resulting shots," our friends from O+ told me.
Looks-wise, O+ 360 HD features rounded corners and edges that are largely similar to that of the Apple iPhone 6 and 6 Plus -- albeit this O+ phone barely has real metal design elements or accents.
