O+ 360 HD Unboxing, Antutu Benchmark Score, In The Flesh Photos, O+ 360 Touch Technology Explained!
O+ 360 HD, O+ USA's new midrange Android smartphone that's packed with cool software innovations from the company, has finally reached the TP Hideout!
As promised in my initial feature about this model, I'll do a quick unboxing and show you how the handset looks in the flesh.
Let's take a closer look at the handset.
According to O+ USA, "One hand is all you need with this amazing 360 touch technology. Tap the front. Tap the back. You can navigate your O+ Android phone back-to-back!"
The sticker protecting the back cover also shows instructions on how to use the 360 touch patch. On the home-screen and app drawer, you may swipe from left to right to navigate the panels. Inside applications like Facebook and Twitter, you may swipe up and down to scroll through status updates. You can also use the touch pad to take photos, simply tap on it when using the camera application and release to take a shot.
As I've shared, O+ 360 HD is powered by a Quad Core 1.3 GHz ARM Cortex A7 and Mali 400 based MediaTek MT6582 processor, handles multitasking with 1 GB of RAM, and has 8 GB of ROM that you can beef up using the microSD card supporting up to 32GB. The combination of these internal specifications as well as all the software enhancement that O+ put on this phone on top of its Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system give the 360 HD an Antutu Benchmark Score in the area of 17,442 during out initial testing.
But more more important than its Antutu Benchmark Score, I found that O+ 360 HD really delivers smooth touch response and lag-free gaming experience for most non-specs-intensive 3D titles available in the Google Play Store.
O+ 360 HD is now available at all O+ USA Concept Stores, Kiosks, and retail partners nationwide. It's out in two colors - Dark Blue and Dark Grey - and sells for only Php 6,395.

This is O+ USA's new packaging design for all of its 360 Series phones, which have a touch-sensitive patch on their back covers for navigating the interface, taking photos, among other functionality.
You'll find a list of the device's key technical specifications and O+ innovations at bottom of the red outer sleeve.
Pulling the inner case out reveals the handset.
All the accessories and peripherals included in the package come in individual cases.
The standard retail package includes the unit itself, the travel charger with folding metal prongs, miroUSB to USB cable, in-ear headphones with extra silicone buds, the removable 2,000 mAh Li-Ion battery pack, cleaning cloth, service card, free screen protector, and free 8 GB Sandisk microSD card.

This sticker protects the touchscreen during shipment and also gives the buyer a list of the handset's main selling points. Obviously, you need to lift or remove this to reveal the brilliant 5-inch IPS OGS display of the phone.
At the back, you will find the feature that's unique to O+ USA's 360 line of smartphones and that's the touch-sensitive patch just below the camera module.

Nothing on the left panel. Sleek, eh? As you can see, the phone has rounded sides and corners -- physical characteristics that are reminiscent of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
Both the volume rocker and power button are located on the right side for easy access using the thumb -- if you're right-handed.
The loud speaker is located at the rear and not at the back, which is a welcome change.
The microUSB port and 3.5mm audio jack can be found at the top panel.
