Cherry Mobile Cosmos TWO Price is Php 5,499 Only : Specs and Actual Unit Photos, Revealed!
I've just received an exclusive update from our friends at Cherry Mobile. Today, the biggest local handset company is officially launching a new and affordable handset under its elegant and feature-packed Cosmos Series.
To quote CM's Marketing Team, "We're not yet done, we're just getting started. With the overwhelming reception of the Cosmos S2, we continue to beef up and improve our Cosmos Series! We are now making the line more affordable but we are still retaining what the Cosmos is known for: Premium Design and Premium Specs. Introducing Cosmos Two!"
Priced at only Php 5,499, Cherry Mobile Cosmos Two is currently the most budget-friendly model in CM's sleek and powerful Cosmos Line. And what's great for consumers is that - even if it's a lot more affordable than its siblings - Cosmos Two definitely bears the genes of its more premium family members.
Looks-wise, it flaunts a luxurious construction replete with a glass face that gently curves down the edges and a matte back cover with soft texture that looks similar to that of the BlackBerry Z10. These design elements should make the Cosmos Two a joy to hold and behold.
For a borderline budget model, the CM Cosmos Two is hardly a pushover when it comes to technical specifications (as expected from a Cosmos release). Outside, it features a 5-inch HD On-Cell IPS display with Full Lamination, a 14 MegaPixel main camera with LED flash and BSI sensor, a 5 MegaPixel front cam, Full HD video recorder, and USB-OTG support. Under the hood, the device - which is powered by a 2,100 mAh battery pack - runs its customized Android 4.4 KitKat operating system with its 1.5 GHz Quad Core ARM Cortex A53 and Mali-T760 based 64-bit MediaTek MT6732 chipset, has 1 GB of RAM for multitasking, and comes with 8 GB of expandable storage.
Dual-SIM and LTE-enabled Cherry Mobile Cosmos Two will be available at all CM Concept Stores, Kiosks, and authorized retail partners starting this week. Off hand, I think this handset gives great value for money and I'm excited to give it a test run.

Notice that the handset only has a singular capacitive button below the display, which - I believe - is the same as what as on the Cherry Mobile Pulse from last year.
