Asus ZenPad C 7.0 Z170CG Price in the Philippines is Php 5,995, Specs, Actual Unit Photos : Intel Sofia Powered Dual SIM 7-inch WSVGA Phablet, Launched!
Last night - July 30, 2015 - at Buddha Bar in Makati City, Taiwanese electronics company Asus formally launched three new Android tablets in the Philippines -- covering high-end, midrange, and entry-level price echelons.
Of the three new slates, Asus ZenPad C 7.0 is the most affordable. This one also costs Php 5,995 and yet it already comes with a slew of features that most entry-level consumers - I bet - will appreciate.
Made for budget-conscious consumers who are always looking for the best gadgets that their hard-earned money can afford, Asus ZenPad C 7.0 allows students and yuppies to experience the benefits of the new 64-Bit Quad Core Intel Sofia processor on a tablet that's big on looks and unique Zen UI software features.
According to Intel, Intel Atom x3 Processor Series - aka Sofia - provides a foundation for full-featured and cost-effective platforms with fast and seamless mobile experiences which meet today’s consumers’ expectations. ZenPad C's Intel x3-C3230 processor includes a quad-core Intel Atom CPU, a Mali 450-MP4 graphics chip, and an integrated 3G modem.
To quote Asus, "The design of ASUS ZenPad C 7.0 carries modern influences and a simple, clean look that gives it a universal and stylish appeal. It boasts of great performance and entertainment features that makes it an all-around value tablet in an elegant design."
ZenPad C looks largely identical to its more expensive sibling, the Asus ZenPad 7.0, albeit with less pronounced metallic accents. Both tablets have the same swappable back cover with textured finish and support a variety of accessories to enhance the user experience.
Apart from its new powerhouse processor, sizable 16GB of ROM, and svelte Zen UI, the other technical specifications of the ZenPad C are pretty standard for a tablet-phone hybrid in this price category. It sports a 7-inch WSVGA - that's 1024 x 600 pixels, which is slightly lower than HD - IPS display panel, 2 MegaPixel fixed focus main cam, 0.3 MP front shooter, qHD video recorder, 1GB of RAM, microSD card expansion slot, and a 3,450 mAh Li-Polymer battery pack delivering up to 9.6 hours of web browsing over WiFi. Still, not bad at all for tablet with such an affordable price tag, right?
Dual SIM Dual Standby, 3G HSPA+ enabled Asus ZenPad C 7.0 is out now at all Asus Concept Stores and authorized retail partners across the archipelago; If you're thinking about getting one, kindly the store you're eyeing a ring first to check availability of units. The device is available in a number of colors - namely, Glamour Red, Aurora Metallic, Charcoal Black, and Pearl White - and again, you get it for only Php 5,995.
