Cherry Mobile Omega 3 Price is Php 5,499 : Affordable Metal-Clad Octa Core Smartphone
Our friends at Cherry Angel - an authorized CM retail outlet located in 168 Mall in Binondo, Metro Manila - have just posted actual unit photos of the yet-to-be-announced Cherry Mobile Omega 3.
CM Omega 3 is a midrange Android smartphone that doesn't only come with great technical specifications (for its price) but is also quite handsome.
The handset sports a sizable 5.5-inch HD IPS display - making it a full-fledged phablet - and has a good pair of cameras: A 13 MegaPixel autofocus camera with LED flash and BSI sensor at the back and a 5 MegaPixel selfie cam in front.
Under the hood, it runs Android 4.4 KitKat with a 1.4 GHz Octa Core processor (most probably MediaTek MT6592M chipset), has 2GB of RAM, and - get this - 16GB of ROM that you can further beef up using the phone's microSD card slot.
I think these specs alone should be enough for anyone to call CM Omega 3 another 'great value for money' release by the Pinoy handset giant.
When it comes to features and raw power, Omega 3 is already right up there with the best of them in this price echelon. But what makes this phablet even more special is its design and construction.
Looking at these photos, it's clear that the device has thin display bezels and flaunts a metal back plate, which is quite rare in this price point. These design elements should make this model a stand-out in terms of aesthetics. Heck, it looks good enough for me to forgive the fact that it only has a 2,300 mAh battery pack.
Is it the right handset for you? Get it if you want a budget-friendly yet attractive Android phablet that has decent imaging capabilities and lets you play 3D games smoothly on its clear display. Since Omega 3's battery life is obviously its main point for improvement, you might want to also get a powerbank when you purchase this phone -- if you're a power user.
Dual SIM Dual Standby (Regular Mini + Nano) and 3G-enabled Cherry Mobile Omega 3 is now available at all CM Concept Stores, Kiosks, and authorized retail outlets. Again, it sells for only Php 5,499 and I believe it's out in two colors: Black and White.
TP Friends, I invite you to visit Cherry Angel's store in Divisoria. They've done so much for us - CM fans online - simply by posting photos of Cherry Mobile smartphones ahead of everyone else. They help keep us all excited about our beloved brand and the least we can do to thank them is to support their outlet.
