Firefly Mobile GT100s Price is Php 3,799 : Full Specs, Design, Key Features
Earlier this evening, one of my readers emailed me details about Firefly Mobile GT100s and just from looking at the attached photos and specs list, I immediately thought that the handset is quite interesting and is worth sharing with you guys.
Made for budget-conscious consumers, the GT100s costs only Php 3,799 and yet it already comes with a decent set of technical specifications and an undeniably attractive design identity.
Available in Icy Champagne (White with Champagne Gold accents) and Cosmic Black, Firefly Mobile GT100s flaunts an aircraft-grade aluminum metal edge frame construction making it durable and elegant at the same time.
Complementing the gorgeous exterior are the phone's fine technical specifications. GT100s sports a 5-inch qHD 540 x 960 pixels IPS display protected by scratch-resistant Dragontrail Glass, 8 MegaPixel autofocus camera with BSI sensor and LED flash, 5 MegaPixel front cam, 3G HSPA+ connectivity support, Dual SIM Dual Standby capability, and 2,400 mAh battery pack. Under the hood, it runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system with its 1.3 GHz Quad Core ARM Cortex-A7 and Mali-400 MP2 MediaTek MT6582M chipset, has 1 GB of RAM, and comes with 8 GB of expandable storage. Not bad at all for a phone with such a pocket-friendly price tag. (And I was told, buyers even get a free screen protector and hard plastic case.)
For those who are wondering, Firefly Mobile is a local electronics company that distributes Android smartphones and featurephone via its concept stores, kiosks, and retail partners nationwide. For years, Firefly has remained in the shadows of its bigger rivals - mainly, Cherry Mobile, MyPhone, and Starmobile - but since the start of 2015, it has managed to churn out amazing handsets with affordable prices that caught the attention of thousands of Pinoy mobile consumers online. As of today, Firefly Mobile has more than 600,000 followers on Facebook, making it one of the most followed Pinoy companies (in any industry) on that social networking site.
