Lenovo Vibe Shot Price in the Philippines is Php 17,999, Out Now Nationwide : Initial Review, Antutu Benchmark Score, Design Check
Lenovo's 2015 'full-featured camera and champion smartphone', the Lenovo Vibe Shot, is now available at all of the company's official retail channels across the country.
The flagship handset sells for Php 17,999 and it comes in three colors, namely, Graphite Grey (like what I have here), Carmine Red (or Crimson), and Pearl White.
I've been using Vibe Shot as one of my daily drivers for a three weeks now and off hand, I think it's a great smartphone for event coverage and for snapping product shots, selfies, and portraits.
There are several things I love about this stellar release but its 16 MegaPixel autofocus camera with six-piece modular lens and Triple Tone LED flash would definitely be its strongest suit. As I've shared previously, I've been fortunate to have owned many amazing cameraphones in the past, including Nokia Lumia 1020, Sony Xperia Z3, and Nokia 808 PureView -- and I can really say that the Lenovo Vibe Shot is a laudable attempt by the Chinese company to come up with a decent point-and-shoot replacement. Later, I will show you some sample shots that I took using Vibe Shot's main camera to prove the point.
In Pro Mode, the user can manually control the cameraphone's White Balance, Focus, Exposure, Shutter Speed, ISO, and even Aperture. So if you're one of those who love to play with your camera's settings to get the perfect shot, you'd love this model.
I'm sure you'll enjoy viewing the resulting shots as well as your 'beautified' 8 MegaPixel selfies using the front cam on the phone's 5-inch Full HD IPS panel that's protected by scratch-resistant glass with oleophobic coating.
Another thing about this smartphone that I like almost as much as its camera is its real metal side frame, which is even thicker than what's on my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. Giving Vibe Shot an air of both durability and elegance, this design element made of anodized aluminum is a real treat to have on a device that's priced at less than Php 20,000.
Underneath the attractive outer case, the handset runs its Vibe UI skinned Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with its 64-Bit Octa-Core Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 SoC, has 3GB of RAM for smooth multitasking, and 32GB of internal storage that you can easily augment using the device's microSD card expansion slot.
The device is powered by a non-removable 3,000 mAh Li-Po battery pack that - I find - delivers around a whole day of uptime with regular use. Nothing spectacular but at least, it's not one of those phones that you'd have to charge in your office at lunchtime so it won't be completely drained on your drive home come 7 o'clock in the evening.
Alright! Now, I want to show you the Lenovo Vibe Shot's packaging.
Is Lenovo Vibe Shot the right handset for you? I think you should consider getting it if you're on the look out for a great-looking cameraphone with professional shooting mode and above average technical specifications but you're not quite ready yet to spend more than Php 20,000 on such device. While it's not the best cameraphone I've ever used, I think Lenovo Vibe Shot is certainly the one of the best imaging-centric handsets - if not the best - that you can find in this price echelon.

On its right side, the phone even has a Professional Shooting Mode switch beside the hardware camera shutter button, which immediately tells you that Vibe Shot is specifically crafted by Lenovo for snapping photos.

Notice that Vibe Shot has capacitive navigation buttons (Multitasking, Home, and Back) buttons underneath the display in lieu of virtual keys on other Android Lollipop handsets. Others may say this makes the phone feel a bit dated but I actually like it because by having the buttons there, I can enjoy whole 5-inch screen when running applications.

The smartphone's internal hardware combine to give it an Antutu Benchmark Score in the range of 39,000 to 40,000. I got 39,368 when I ran the test on the phone earlier, which supposedly puts it in best Samsung Galaxy S5 and Xiaomi Mi3 in terms of overall power and performance. You can certainly get a decent experience when you play specs-intensive games and applications on this top-of-the-line handset.

Alright! Now, I want to show you the Lenovo Vibe Shot's packaging.
Here's the box. Check out the details -- especially the iridescent sticker guaranteeing 1 year after-sales support for the handset.
The complete retail package includes the unit itself, a microUSB to USB connector cable, headphones with in-ear silicone buds, travel charger, user manual, and the SIM card tray eject pin.
Lenovo Mobile Philippines also generously included a hard plastic case and a screen protector to the package. Yup, you get those for free when you purchase the phone.
