Lenovo Selfie Flash Price is $29 USD : To Be Released in The Philippines, Soon!
Check out this cool accessory that Lenovo Philippines showed us during the media launch of Lenovo Phab Plus last September 16.
It's called Lenovo Selfie Flash and - as someone who loves to selfies whatever the lighting condition is - I'm in love with it.
There's nothing complicated about the product (which made its first international appearance at CES 2015 last January). It has a shell made of real metal housing eight diffused LED bulbs that you can turn on when taking selfies in low to zero light settings.
Simply mount it on your handset's 3.5mm audio jack, press the button at the back to turn on the lights, and snap your photo. And what's cool is that it can work with any smartphone that has that port.
It doesn't really flash. Instead, it works like a torchlight, steadily emitting light to give you enough time to pose and choose the right white balance for your shot. It automatically turns off though after 15 seconds, which can be a bit annoying if you're the type who takes his or her sweet time before snapping a selfie.
Sidenote: Read about Asus' own version of this accessory: The Asus LolliFlash.
Lenovo Selfie Flash is arriving in the Philippines within this year. Our friends from the company have yet to disclose the product's official local SRP but they say it sells for roughly $29 USD or Php 1,350 in other territories -- so we're putting our PH price guesstimate for it at that amount.
