Our friends at Sony Mobile Philippines have just officially made the handsome, mid-level powerhouse Sony Xperia M5 Dual available nationwide.
This one doesn't really supersede the best-selling M4 Aqua as the two phones are actually being offered alongside each other in the Japanese company's current product line-up.
Instead, Sony is simply marketing Xperia M5 Dual - with official suggested retail price of Php 21,990 - as the more premium midrange model with superior build, internal hardware, and imaging capabilities.
First, let's talk about aesthetics. Whereas the Php 14,490 M4 Aqua has a frame that's made predominantly of plastic or polycarbonate, Sony Xperia M5 Dual, which has the same OmniBalance glass-sandwich build and water-resistant construction, already has stainless steel corners, making it more durable and adding to its more opulent look.

If there's a department where the M5 Dual truly stands head and shoulders compared to its main competitors, it's definitely when it comes to imaging.
