O+ NotePad Price is Php 16,995, Specs, Release Date : Comes with IntelliPen Stylus and Docking Keyboard
Last Saturday - November 21, 2015, on the very popular noontime show Eat Bulaga, O+ USA formally introduced their latest device to Pinoy consumers.
The O+ NotePad slate running Windows 10 operating system serves as a follow-up to the well-received O+ Convertible tablet-notebook hybrid released in the Philippines earlier this year.
Update: View Actual Unit Photos of O+ NotePad.
Follow-up: Here's my O+ NotePad 4G unboxing post! Check out all the accessories that come with the package.
Priced at Php 16,995, O+ NotePad is made for students, yuppies, and graphic content creators as it flaunts a 10.1 WUXGA 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution IPS display where users can write notes or draw figures using O+'s own version of a digitizer pen called "IntelliPen Stylus".
O+ USA was able to showcase this cool and useful feature at Eat Bulaga via a short clip showing YayaDub Maine Mendoza writing notes on the slate for her loved ones. Just imagine what you can do with it when you're in school or if your profession requires you to make lots of drawings and illustrations.
But for me, what makes this product even more attractive is that it also comes with a Keyboard Dock that effectively transforms the slate into a notebook. So whether you prefer handwriting notes or typing them, you can rely on O+ NotePad to be your trusty sidekick.
Apart from the 10.1 display with 10-point multi-touch, O+ NotePad also sports a 2 MegaPixel camera at the back complemented by another 2MP shooter in front. As for connectivity, it supports WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, LTE, and even has a micro HDMI port for quick and easy pairing with a larger display or for transferring content.
At its heart, the tablet runs on a 1.4 GHz Intel Atom Z3800 (TBS) chipset, has a whopping 4GB of RAM for multitasking, and comes with 64GB of ROM that you should be able to beef up easily using the microSD card expansion slot (TBC). Powered by a massive 7,500 mAh battery pack, this slate is sure to deliver more than decent uptime, which is definitely good news for mobile warriors who don't always have access to an electrical outlet for charging.
O+ NotePad will be available at all O+ Concept Stores, Studios, Kiosks, and authorized retail outlets within a few days from now. Out in just one color - Black, the device ships with a free IntelliPen Stylus and Docking Keyboard, making the product a true must-have for content-creators. Stay tuned for our full review!
