Smart Postpaid Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge Pre-Order Page is Live!
The country's largest network Smart Communications has just started taking pre-orders for the freshly unveiled 2016 flagship smartphone models Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge that will be bundled with Smart Postpaid Plans.
For those who are seeing these new devices for the first time: Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge flaunts a large 5.5-inch Quad HD SuperAMOLED screen that gently curves down either sides. On the other hand, the Galaxy S7 has a more standard, flat 5.1-inch Quad HD SuperAMOLED display. Apart from that and the battery capacity (3,600 mAh for the S7 Edge and 3,000 mAh for the regular S7), these two models share the exact same technical specifications.
Both sport the same glass-metal-glass design identity that we've already seen on their sleek 2015 predecessors. Nonetheless, this year's models have a more air-tight build, enough to give them IP68 Water and Dust Resistance Certification. Yep, these two are protected against water damage when submerged in 1.5 meters of liquid for up to 30 minutes! Samsung is not recommending that you use it while swimming, though. Just think of it like an additional protection against accidental splashes or spills.
Unlike last year's flagship Galaxy handsets, S7 and S7 Edge have flush back panels -- thanks to the flatter camera module. The two sport a 12.1 MegaPixel Dual Pixel camera with larger aperture, dual photodiode sensor, and bigger pixels, which - simply put - gives users faster image focus and capture as well as clearer, more crisp photos even in low light conditions.
One of the biggest and most appreciated 'enhancements' implemented on the SGS7 and S7 Edge is that they now come with microSD card memory expansion support via the hybrid secondary nanoSIM slot. It's a neat and greatly useful feature that many users greatly missed on the SGS6 and SGS6 Edge.
The combination of these smartphones' internal hardware, namely, Samsung's new 64-Bit Octa Core Exynos 8890 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of ROM make the SGS7 and S7 Edge two of the most powerful Android smartphones in the world today; These are handsets that can definitely give you top-notch 3D gaming performance and multitasking experience. In fact, based on their specs, S7 and S7 Edge could well be the Android smartphones to beat - this year - when it comes to raw power.
Have you fallen in love with either - or both - of these amazing flagship smartphones from the Korean Giant? Be one of the first to discover them in the flesh! Let Smart Communications know that you're interested in getting a Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge as a bundled handset with their popular Smart Postpaid Plans by pre-ordering your unit now.
