Cherry Mobile Flare S4 Max Price is Php 3,599 : Has Big 4,200 mAh Battery
First off, I'd like to thank TP Friend Charles Quiachon for snapping all of the photos that I featured in this post and for generously sharing the images with the TP Community - for free.
Charles spotted the freshly released Cherry Mobile Flare S4 Max phablet earlier today - July 17, 2016 - while he was strolling around SM North EDSA Annex CyberZone.
Powered by an extra-large 4,200 mAh battery that should be good enough to deliver at least two-days of uptime with regular use, Cherry Mobile Flare S4 Max is made for budget-conscious consumers who hate always having to charge their smartphones in the middle of day in the office or to always carry around a powerbank just to be sure that their handset won't run out of juice on their way home in the evening.
Apart from having a big battery pack, Cherry Mobile Flare S4 Max also has pretty decent technical specifications for its price. It sports a 5.5-inch HD IPS display panel, a 13 MegaPixel autofocus main camera with LED flash, 5 MegaPixel selfie cam in front, Dual SIM Dual Standby capability, plus WiFi and 3G HSPA+ support. At its heart, it runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with a 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor (possibly from MediaTek or Spreadtrum, let me get back to you on that), has 1GB of RAM, and comes with 8GB of internal storage that's easily expandable via the phone's microSD card slot.
As for its design, the handset looks largely similar to the best selling Cherry Mobile Flare S4 with a glass face that gently curves on the sides, a sleek metallic rim, and a textured back panel with beautiful diamond patterns. Cherry Mobile Flare S4 Max is available in a number of elegant colors, including Black and - what we have here - Rose Gold.

The handset's official suggested retail price is Php 3,599. Oddly enough, however, the store where Charles saw this unit sells it for Php 5,500; Not sure why they'd do that. I hope Cherry Mobile can correct this practice by some dealers -- for the benefit of their millions of supporters.
