Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus Philippines Price is Php 8,999, Specs, Features, Release Date

Lenovo Mobile Philippines has just launched two new upper midrange Android smartphones via an exclusive event here at Shangri-La Hotel at the Fort in BGC.

The more affordable model of the duo is the Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus, which is now available at all Lenovo Concept Stores and authorized retailers across the country for Php 8,999.

Obviously, the main selling point of this release is its gorgeous and sleek design identity and build. Vibe K5 Plus' shell is crafted mostly from aluminum, making the device look far more expensive than it actually is.

The handset certainly looks great on the outside but it has more to offer.

Let's talk about its specs.

On the outside, it flaunts a 5-inch Full HD IPS display that looks ultra-crisp and brilliant regardless of the viewing angle, a 13 MegaPixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, 5 MegaPixel front cam for selfies, and Full HD video recorder.

At its heart, Vibe K5 Plus runs its Vibe-UI-skinned Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with a 64-bit Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor, has 2GB of RAM, and comes with 16GB of expandable storage. Lenovo has yet to disclose details about a possible upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Powered by a non-removable 2,750 mAh battery pack that delivers around 8 hours of web-browsing on a full charge, Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus has Dual SIM Dual Standby capability and supports 4G LTE Cat4 mobile connectivity.

Another special feature of this model is its Dolby Atmos software that enhances audio experience by offering pre-set profiles that fit the type of content or the user's preference.

Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus is available in three elegant colors, namely, Graphite Grey, Platinum Silver, and Champagne Gold.
