Lenovo Y700 Gaming Laptop : Price in Philippines, Specs, Actual Unit Photos
Here's one of the more interesting laptops that I saw at the 2016 SM CyberZone Cyber Month Kick-Off Event held at SM North EDSA Annex last Friday, August 5, 2016.
Made for hardcore gamers who take pride in their enviable gear and rig, Lenovo Y700 doesn't only look stunning but is also downright powerful.
As you can see in these actual unit photos, Lenovo Y700 has a pretty eye-catching design language that I'm sure many gamers will find more than attractive.
Lenovo Y700 is equipped with a 15.6-inch Full HD display with Anti-Glare coating that truly delivers an enjoyable visual experience especially when playing the most graphics intensive 3D titles.
As for ports, this gaming laptop has two for USB 3.0, one for USB 2.0 + Always-on, DC-in, 2-in-1 Audio Combo Jack, one for HDMI, and a 4-in-1 Media Card Reader (SD, SDHC, SDXC, MMC).
Both the keyboard - with island-style keys - and the sizable trackpad are a joy to use.
The keys are spaced well and aren't mushy. Not to mention, the whole Red-LED-backlit keyboard is also great to look at.
The trackpad is big enough for making Windows 10 multi-finger gestures and delivers a smooth two-finger scrolling experience.
As a gaming laptop, the real highlight of the Y700 are its beastly internal hardware.
There are two available models for the Philippine market.
Lenovo Y700 80NV00DPPH, which is more affordable - with SRP of Php 67,995, runs Windows 10 Home OS with a 6th Generation Intel Quad-Core i7 -6700HQ and has NVIDIA GTX 960M 4GB GDDR5 Discrete Graphics. Also, it comes with 8GB of RAM and 1 TB HDD storage.
Php 78,995 N80NV0086PH, on the other hand, is powered by the same processor and discrete graphics but comes with 16GB of DDR3 RAM and has an extra 128GB NGFF SSD storage on top of its 1TB HDD, making it more powerful overall.
Lenovo has a cool treat for consumers in the Philippines who will be purchasing either of these notebooks. If you buy Lenovo Y700 from a participating store from August 1 to September 30, 2016, you will get a free Lenovo Phab worth Php 7,999! Buyers can claim the phablet at selected Lenovo Exclusive Store or for Provincial customers, via courier.

The cover has a brushed metal finish that gleams when light hits it. Below that, you'll see the black and red fan grill that matches the color of the JBL loud speaker and the keyboard.
The laptop's body has a matte finish, which makes the metallic elements of the shell as well as the glowing red keyboard stand out more.
