OPPO F1s Price in the Philippines is Php 12,990 : Initial Review, Sample Selfie Photos, Antutu Benchmark Score, Release Date
I'm now here at the beautiful Pico de Loro Beach and Country Club in Nasugbu Batangas for the official launch of OPPO F1s Android smartphone.
Positioned in between the more affordable best-seller OPPO F1 and the high-end OPPO F1 Plus, OPPO F1s is a selfie-centric mid-2016 Android handset with more than decent internal hardware and technical specifications as well as downright attractive aesthetics considering its price.
Reinforcing the brand's 'Selfie Expert' moniker, the F1s sports a 16 MegaPixel f/2.2 front cam for taking self portraits that seems to perform just as well as that of the more expensive OPPO F1 Plus. This shooter also comes with OPPO's 7-level Beautification mode that evens out the user's skintone instantly.
Here are some sample selfie shots:
The phablet's 13 MegaPixel f/2.2 rear camera also delivers decent-looking photos -- especially when used in settings with ample ambient light.
OPPO F1s sports a 5.5-inch HD IPS display panel, which looks good from various viewing angles. If you ask me, I think the screen's resolution could be higher but then, while it's not the most crisp display out there, F1s' screen is far from blurry or pixelated. It looks just alright.
Apart from its imaging capabilities, premium design and build represent another highlight of this midrange release.
The shell, which features real metal and chrome-plated polycarbonate, exudes an air of elegance and corporate sophistication.
One of the coolest features of this model is its Fingerprint Scanner - lining the home button below the screen - that allows the user not just to quickly unlock the handset with but a touch of a finger but also lets you quickly launch an application even without first having to turn on the display. Simply register your fingerprint and assign a unique application to it.
At its heart, OPPO F1s runs its ColorOS-flavored Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with a 64-Bit Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 processor that incorporates eight ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz and a Mali T860MP2 GPU, has 3GB of RAM, and comes with 32GB of internal storage that can be quickly augmented using the dedicated microSD card expansion slot.
And for those who are asking, yes, OPPO F1s can definitely run PokeMon Go -- as it meets and even goes beyond the game's device requirements.
OPPO F1s will be available at all OPPO stores nationwide starting on August 19, 2016. And from August 12 to 19, the company will already be taking pre-orders for this model via their official website. For consumers who are a bit tight on budget but are badly smitten with this smartphone, you may avail of Home Credit's 0% Installment program for OPPO F1s.

Thanks to our friends from OPPO Philippines and M2.0 Communications for bringing us here. I'm thoroughly enjoying the whole OPPO F1s launch experience, including the group activities.

Apart from its imaging capabilities, premium design and build represent another highlight of this midrange release.
The shell, which features real metal and chrome-plated polycarbonate, exudes an air of elegance and corporate sophistication.
This visually-stunning model is available in three premium and elegant colors, namely, Gold, Rose Gold, and Grey.
The hardware buttons are also made of real metal, making them feel more sturdy and durable when pressed.
Looking just about the same as iPhone 6s Plus from certain angles, OPPO F1s should be great for relatively budget-conscious mobile users who see aesthetics as a primary consideration when purchasing smartphones.

The combination of these internal hardware give OPPO F1s an Antutu Benchmark Score in the range of 40,000 to 42,000. Here, I got 40,830. But more importantly, the phablet's innards deliver a smooth touch experience, stutter-free multitasking, and enjoyable light 3D gaming performance.
And for those who are asking, yes, OPPO F1s can definitely run PokeMon Go -- as it meets and even goes beyond the game's device requirements.
