Starmobile Gets 5 Million Followers on Facebook, Has Message for Fans
Proudly-Pinoy mobile devices company Starmobile recently broke the 5-Millionth follower mark on the world's leading social networking site, Facebook, making it the brand with most followed FB community page in the Philippines.
And what's amazing is that it's still getting more followers on FB by the minute. As of 1:30PM August 20, 2016, 5,156,815 Facebook users have liked Starmobile's page -- that's more than 100,000 additional followers in a span of just one week.
Although this landmark social media achievement coincidentally happened in the month that Starmobile is celebrating its fifth year in the local handset industry, it's by no means a result of an accident. Not relying on pure luck, the brand consciously and consistently worked hard to reach this success.
According to Starmobile, "With Filipinos being one of the most active Facebook users in the world, the brand has consciously invested on the social media platform to educate and delight its customer base about its innovative but accessible devices such as smartphones and tablets. However, Starmobile is not just focused on gaining followers, but also on actively engaging with these fans, working hard to respond to queries and concerns within minutes during regular office hours."
On Friday - August 19, 2016, I got in touch with our good friend Mr. Elijah Mendoza, Starmobile's Mobile Devices Marketing Manager, and I asked him if the company has a message for its loyal fans and followers in light of this recent stellar feat attained by the brand.
He said, "It goes without saying that we could not have reached this milestone without the support of our loyal followers. Your trust keeps us grounded and in tune with what Filipinos need and we will forever do our best to live up to and exceed your expectations."
