Kimstore Announces Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Recall, Refund, and Replacement Details

In line with the global recall of all Samsung Galaxy Note 7 units due to faulty battery issue that led to a number of explosions of the said handset around the globe, Kimstore - the country's most trusted online gadget store - has just announced details on its own refund, replacement, or return program for the Korean Giant's 2016 flagship phablet.

"Mark, I care for my buyers and I want to show that not just with words but with clear action. At Kimstore, we value the trust of our consumers and we want to match that with genuine concern for them and responsiveness to issues like this," my friend Kim Lato told me.

Here's her official statement:

Additional mechanics c/o Kimstore:

"For customers within Metro Manila, they can drop by to our stores and leave the full package of Samsung Galaxy Note7 including freebies and we will issue a cheque for refund after 3 working days.

For customers outside Metro Manila, they can ship back the whole Samsung Galaxy Note7 package to our head office and a refund will be given to them.

If the customer chooses to wait for the new Note7, it will take 30 to 45 days for the replacement program to take effect and if they want an upgrade that is also possible; They just need to choose which item they want instead."

If you bought your Samsung Galaxy Note 7 from Kimstore, I would advise you to get in touch with Kim's team as soon as you can regarding this. Don't charge your smartphone and avoid connecting it to your car. Heck, just avoid using it so as to avoid untoward incidences.

Kimstore has started taking pre-orders for the Apple iPhone 7 Plus and if you're interested, you might want to swap the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 that you bought from Kim to the Cupertino company's new powerhouse 5.5-inch phablet. "They can certainly do that," she said.
