LG X Power Price is $130, Has 4,100 mAh Battery Pack
I really wish LG Mobile would release more smartphones like this -- especially in emerging markets like the Philippines. I'm sure consumers here would be more than willing to bet their money on such devices.
I mean, LG X Power is affordable, looks OK, has decent specs, and comes with a large battery pack. Off hand, what's there not to love about it?
The thing, though, is that this smartphone is currently only available in the United States via Sprint. So yeah, that's a bit of a downer.
There, it dons a non-contract price tag of only $129.99 USD (or around Php 6,200) before taxes.
And given its specs - including the 5.3-inch HD display, 8 MegaPixel autofocus rear camera, 5MP selfie cam, Full HD video recorder, 64-Bit Octa Core MediaTek MT6735 processor running Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, 4G LTE support, and its massive 4,100 mAh battery pack delivering up a whopping 33 hours of talk time - for that amount, I think LG X Power already gives great value for money.
If and when LG decides to launch it here, however, I hope they won't increase the SRP beyond Php 7,500. Because it they will do that, the handset will lose probably its most attractive selling point and the whole idea may prove pointless.

You won't be needing your big powerbank all that much if you have this smartphone.
