Starmobile Engage 7i+ Tablet Can Make Calls and Send Text Messages
Although the success of phablets came at the expense of tablets' popularity, there are still many advantages to owning a slate with a notably large display -- especially if it can also send SMS and make calls.
For one, watching movies and viewing photos is certainly more enjoyable on a big screen and the same thing goes for reading websites and blogs.
That said, I know that Pinoy consumers will be interested in the all-new Starmobile Engage 7i+ Android tablet, which has just been released in the market.
Selling for only Php 3,990, this device is equipped with a 7-inch 1024 x 600 pixels IPS display panel, a 5 MegaPixel fixed focus camera with LED flash, 2MP front cam for selfies, Full HD 30fps video recorder, 3,000 mAh battery pack delivering 4 hours of talk time and 300 hours of standby, Dual SIM Dual Standby capability (via 2 microSIM slots), Tri-Band 3G HSPA+ support, and GSM phone functionality.
Inside it runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with a 64-Bit 1.2 GHz Quad Core Intel SoFia 3G-R processor incorporating a Mali-450 GPU, has 1.5 GB of RAM, and comes with 16GB of expandable storage.
If you ask me, I think Engage 7i+'s set of internal hardware is a real treat at this price point. If I were to recommend this release, it would have to be because of that.
Additionally, I find the the slate's no-non-sense design language rather on point. I like its simplicity.
Measuring 9.9 millimeters at its thickest point and weighing 500 grams, Starmobile Engage 7i+ is now available at all Starmobile Concept Stores, kiosks, and authorized retail partners across the archipelago. It's out in just one color: Black.
