Fix Slow, Stuttering, and Laggy Typing in Facebook Chat

The past few days, I've been receiving complaints from my readers regarding what they call 'a sudden slowdown' in their Facebook Chat experience on their laptops and desktops.

"I can no longer type fast while typing! Help, Kuya Mark!"

"There's a 5-second lag when I'm typing. It's driving me crazy."

"It wasn't like this before. I don't know what exactly Facebook did but it's wrong."

There are only some of the messages you guys have sent me.

Well, if anything, I can sympathize with you regarding this issue

I've also experienced a drop in my Facebook experience especially on my older notebooks with little RAM and HDD storage. I believe it has something to do with the increased resources needed to run the website; But that's just my speculation.

Anyway, here are some things I did to fix the problem. You might also want to try them out yourself:

1. If you're using Google Chrome, clear your cache and browsing history by clicking CTRL+Shift+Del. Then, restart the browser. This works for a lot people.

2. Restart your computer.

3. If those two didn't work, considering using Messenger.com to send FB Chat messages, which uses less resources.
