OPPO A39 Specs, Price, and Availability in the Philippines
OPPO Philippines, which had managed to become the second most prolific handset vendor less than 36 months since it started its operations, is starting 2017 with a bang.
In just a few days, the Chinese electronics company will finally make the all-new OPPO A39 available to Pinoy consumers for Php 10,990 -- putting it right in between the budget-friendly OPPO F1 and the best-selling OPPO F1s.
“OPPO’s smartphones have always stood out for their outstanding photography performance, powerful hardware, and elegant design. OPPO’s latest smartphone, the A39, is no exception. The A39’s availability here in the Philippines is great news for those of us who can’t get enough of selfies and creative snaps," shared Mr. Stephen Cheng, OPPO Philippines' Brand Marketing Manager.
Also a 'Selfie Expert' just like its siblings, A39's main feature is its 5 MegaPixel front cam with extra large 1.4um pixels and ¼-inch sensor allowing it to have higher light sensitivity. This means that this phone's selfie cam can definitely deliver clear and vibrant looking self-portraits even when used in low light environments.
On top of that, OPPO A39 features a 5.2-inch HD IPS display protected by scratch-resistant 2.5D Curved Corning Gorilla Glass 4, a 13 MegaPixel main camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash, Full HD video recorder, non-removable 3,000 mAh Li-Ion battery pack, Dual SIM Dual Standby capability (Dual nanoSIM), USB OTG, and 4G LTE mobile connectivity support.
Underneath its svelte magnesium-aluminum-alloy exterior, this smartphone ColorOS 3.0 flavored Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with a 64-Bit Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 processor, has 3GB of RAM for stutter-free multitasking, and comes with 32GB of expandable storage.
Measuring just 7.65 millimeters at its thickest point and weighing only 147 grams, OPPO A39 - which is available in Gold and Rose Gold - shares similar design aesthetics with that of the OPPO F1s. Needless to say, however, this 2017 release is smaller and doesn't have a home button in front.
Given the breakout success that OPPO Philippines had in 2016, I'm personally very excited to see what the company has in store for all Pinoy consumers this year. Currently, they're pretty much still dominating the midrange category. Will they try to also get a chunk of the pie in the pricey flagship bracket this 2017? Let's wait and see.
