Acer Day is August 3rd of Every Year : Acer and Predator Laptops Up for Grabs via Daily Challenges
Respected Taiwanese electronics brand Acer has recently announced the launch of "Acer Day", a movement to bring fresh energy to the brand through fun interactions with its loyal fans and consumers in various countries around the world.
Set to take place on August 3, Acer Day is the first transnational and largest annual brand day event of one the world's leading tech companies. It will kick off in 14 countries, including the Philippines, Indonesia, Taiwan, Vietnam, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Australia, and New Zealand.
Why August 3, you ask? Well, Mr. Andrew Hou - President of Acer in Pan Asia Pacific Region - disclosed that Acer Day’s grand opening date was specifically chosen because “eight-third” (Aug. 3rd) sounds like “Acer”. Following this run, every August 3rd in the future will be Acer’s international brand day, where brand activities and events will be launched for the enjoyment of consumers.
This year - 2017, the theme of Acer Day is “Be cool everyday”, which is inspired by and centered on Acer’s all-new AeroBlade 3D Fan Technology. This unique AeroBlade innovation enables the use of the world's thinnest metal fan blade that provides advanced aerodynamics and airflow performance to keep the notebook at a low temperature even during heavy usage.
In all above-mentioned countries, the Acer Day event website officially kicks off on July 21st. Everyone is invited to log in using their social media accounts to participate in 11 daily challenges, including memory puzzles, friend sharing games, among others, to earn “Cool Points”. These points may then be exchanged for raffle tickets to Acer Day giveways. Prizes include Acer Swift Series laptops, Acer Spin notebooks, Predator gaming laptops, and other amazing surprises.
Fun treats and exclusive deals will also be available to consumers who will purchase products on Acer Day. For more information, check out the event website at www.acer-day.com/ph and the Acer Philippines Facebook Page at www.facebook.com/AcerPH.
