Nokia 7 Plus with 18:9 Display and Dual Zeiss Camera, Arriving Soon?
I think 2018 - just like 2017 - will be the year of smartphones with tall 18:9 Aspect Ratio Display, Dual Camera Module, Facial Recognition, and Big Battery.
So far, we've already gotten the new Asus ZenFone Max Plus, which has all of those features -- while leaked photos of flagship smartphones by other brands including Samsung and Xiaomi show that they will most likely also come with those specs.
Yesterday - February 15, 2018, reliable serial gadget leaker Evan Blass posted purported press photos of the upcoming Nokia 7+ on his Twitter account. And if we were to take these shots seriously, it appears that the high-end phone will have at least two of the features that I mentioned above.
The photos clearly show that this Android smartphone will have a tall 18:9 aspect ratio screen as well as a Dual Camera set-up at the back with Zeiss optics.
So far, HMD Global - the new home of Nokia phones - hasn't officially confirmed the existence of this particular handset model. However, given Mr. Blass' track record, I believe it's only a matter time before it gets announced.
Oh, and here's one interesting thing that I noticed in the shots: At the back, near the bottom section, you will clearly see the "Android One" branding, which pretty much guarantees that this phone will get official software updates from Google for at least two years.
Mr. Blass has posted images of two color variants of the Nokia 7 Plus. One is Black with Orange or Copper trimmings and the other is White having the same accent color. So which one of these two do you think looks better? Kindly share your thoughts about the Nokia 7+ via our comments section below.
