Razer Phone Price in the Philippines is Php 34,900 via Kimstore, Out Now
If you're a big Razer fan and you've long been waiting eagerly to get your hands on the company's new gaming smartphone, I bring you great news!
One of the country's biggest online gadget stores, Kimstore, has started selling Razer Phone in the Philippines for Php 34,900 per unit, which is not bad considering that this model sells for $699 USD in the United States.
For those who are seeing this phone for the first time and are wondering what's so special about it:
Well, Razer Phone has several key features that make it one of the best - if not the absolute best - handset for gaming that's currently out in the market.
First, it has a 5.7-inch Quad HD IPS display with an ultra-fast 120 Hz refresh rate that doesn't only give you the smoothest screen transitions but also makes 3D gameplay look for engaging and beautiful.
Second, it has powerful stereo speakers found on either ends of the display, which complement the display to deliver a more enjoyable experience while playing your favorite titles.
I find it odd though that Razer didn't put a 3.5mm audio jack on this phone given the wide variety of "wired" gaming headsets in the market. Then again, you can always use an adapter for that.
Third, Razer Phone has a Game Booster software that lets you adjust the device's performance depending on your preferences. You can either throttle the power of the internal hardware to increase battery life or to boost power when you're playing specs intensive games.
Speaking of internal hardware, this smartphone runs its customized Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS with the top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with Adreno 540 graphics chip, has a whopping 8GB of RAM for the smoothest multitasking experience, and comes with 64GB of expandable storage.
The handset is powered by a non-removable 4,000 mAh Li-Ion battery pack, which is notably big in comparison to what powers competing flagship-level phones with more or less the same screen size and innards.
Now, as for imaging capabilities, Razer Phone has a Dual Camera Module at the back made up of two 12 MegaPixel shooters with varying f/1.8 and f/2.6 apertures that work together to give the phone two times lossless zoom capability on top of capturing shots with beautiful bokeh effect.
Above the display, there's an 8 MegaPixel f/2.0 camera for snapping clear and crisp selfies even when the ambient light is not that bright.
For added security, the device has a Fingerprint Scanner mounted on the side (similar to what's on flagship Xperia smartphones) and supports Facial Recognition via the front cam.
Oh, and before I forget: Perhaps, the coolest thing about this smartphone is that you can mount it on a "laptop dock" that practically gives you a full-fledged Android-powered gaming notebook! Right now, Razer is still developing this under "Project Linda" but there's a great probability that it will indeed be launched for public consumption.
