Huawei Nova 2 Lite Camera Sample Photos and Selfies Taken at Bohol, Philippines
Today - March 24, 2017, the all-new Huawei Nova 2 Lite was formally released in the Philippines through a media and consumer event held at the Atrium of SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City.
This lower midrange Android smartphone has official suggested retail price of Php 9,990 and those who were able to successfully pre-order their units got a free JBL Bluetooth Headset when they picked up their handset at the launch.
For those who are still thinking about purchasing the Huawei Nova 2 Lite, you might want to take a look at these sample photos and selfies that I snapped using the front and rear cameras of this device.
I know that good imaging capabilities - especially in low light - are a primary consideration when getting a new handset these days so tried out the phone's 13 MegaPixel f/2.2 main shooter as well as the 8 MegaPixel f/2.0 selfie cam as much as I could when our friends from Huawei Philippines took us to Bohol for some R&R last February 26, 2018.
The handset has a secondary 5MP camera at the back to assist in snapping shots with Bokeh Effect. The images that I have here were not taken using that feature as I focused more on showing you the end to end clarity of photos. That said, I promise to dedicate another entry to Nova 2 Lite's depth of field camera effects.
Alright! There you have it. Let me know your thoughts about these sample photos through our comments section below. If you have questions, I'd be glad to answer them too.

This was taken at around 9 o'clock in the morning, overlooking the sea, at Amorita Hotel.
I noticed that when snapping photos using the phone - especially close-up food shots like this - is that you'd have to hold it really steady for a second to ensure a clear capture.
This is one of the first selfies that I took using the 8MP front cam. I like that the user can adjust the beautification effect - from none to very aggressive. I often chose either level 2 or 3 instead of higher as I prefer to get selfies that still look like me.
I love this shot because of how well the phone captured the dark areas as well as the dark ones. Great contrast is often used to create drama and Nova 2 Lite can certainly deliver that.
For those who love using Beautification or Skin Smoothening Effect on their selfies, here's a sel that I snapped with Level 8 Beauty Level. Notice the very aggressive skin clearing on my forehead.
Here's a sample indoor shot in a room with flourescent lighting.
