Nubia NX573J M2 Philippines Price, Specs, Features, Actual Unit Photos
Nubia Technology Co. Ltd., the mobile devices arm of Chinese tech giant ZTE Corporation, has found a new official distribution partner in the Philippines.
Henceforth, Hellotronics - the online gadget sales business of StarClick Corporation - will offer Nubia Android smartphones that fit the needs of Filipinos, which is great news considering that ZTE is known for coming up with well-crafted products.
One of the first Nubia handsets that Hellotronics brought to our country is the budget-friendly Nubia NX573J M2, which is called M2 Lite in other territories.
Currently priced at Php 6,499 in LazadaPH, this attractive model combines great looks with decent technical specifications and useful software features embedded into the brand's unique interface for Android.
As you can see in these photos of the actual device, one of the highlights of the Nubia NX573J M2 is its visually appealing design.
The unibody aluminum shell - with rounded sides, antenna bands on either poles at the back, and diamond cuts in front - complement the 2.5D curved glass face to give the smartphone an air of elegance and a well-crafted feel when you hold it.
As for technical specifications, on the outside, this model sports a 5.5-inch HD IPS display, a 13 MegaPixel f/2.2 autofocus rear camera with LED flash, 16 MegaPixel f/2.0 front camera with "Pretty Effect" software enhancement - indicating that it's a selfie-centric handset, and a Full HD video recorder.
Under the hood, NX573J runs its Nubia-UI-skinned Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with an Octa Core MediaTek MT6750 processor, has 3GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage that can easily be augmented using the hybrid secondary nanoSIM slot that also supports microSD card memory expansion.
(I know! I also wish ZTE would upgrade the phone to - at least - Android 7.0 Nougat. So far, there's no official word on that yet.)
This Dual SIM, 4G-enabled handset is powered by a non-removable 3,000 mAh Li-Po battery pack that should be good enough to deliver around 10 hours of uptime with regular use, including updating social media apps, browing the web, and listening to music on the go.
For me, though, the coolest thing about this release are its cool software features including Edge
Gestures, Dual Instance, and Super Screenshot, which all come pre-installed in the device. I'll talk about these in a separate TechPinas post so stay tuned.
For those who are interested, Nubia NX573J M2 is out now at LazadaPH and it's available in two classy colors, namely, Champagne Gold and Black Gold (or Black with Gold Trimming and Accents).
