Acer Day 2018 Invites Filipino Youth To Play Music Together
Last July 20, 2018, at the Glorietta Palm Drive Activity Center in Makati City, global tech giant Acer Inc. formally kicked off its annual Acer Day celebration with this year's theme being 'Play Music Together'.
Targeted towards young Filipinos, the launch event was both a concert and a dance show featuring legit musicians and youth icons like Moira dela Torre and IV of Spades who both delivered a memorable duet as well as world renowned dance group, G-Force, which pumped up the crowd with their show-stopping moves.
According to Ms. Sue Ong-Lim, Acer Philippines' Sales and Marketing Director, "Music has been around for decades, and yet it manages to stay youthful, trendy, and innovative. In a way, this mirrors how Acer regards technology, in that it should always be fresh, modern, and inventive in terms of its design and capabilities."
During the event, Acer Philippines also took the opportunity to announce other activities that are in line with the theme of Acer Day 2018, including the following:
Acer Day Digital Concert in partnership with Wish FM 107.5 - Towards the end of August 2018, fans of Moira and IV of Spades will be treated to an encore of their appearance aboard the Wish FM 107.5 bus.
Acer Day Music Video Fest - Half a million pesos is up for grabs for both amateur and professional dance groups! By simply following the Acer Day signature dance by G-Force, your own dance squad can get the chance to be one of the 3 finalists (who will each win PHO 100,000) and eventually compete for the grand prize!
