2018 Dual SIM iPhone in Red, Gold, and Black, Captured in Photos
Last month, we first heard news from our so-called "Apple insiders" - particularly Ming Chi Kuo - that the Cupertino company is slated to release their first Dual SIM iPhone models this year.
Today - September 7, 2018, we are finally seeing leaked images of at least of the said 2018 iPhone variants with two nanoSIM slots.
If we were to believe these photos of the purported 'budget-friendly' Dual SIM 6.1-inch iPhone, then I'd say that it will simply look like a larger version of the iPhone 8 from 2018, replete with a glass back plate, aluminum mid-frame, and a single, protruding rear camera module.
So far, SlashLeaks - the source of these leaked shots - has shared photos of the color variants of the said iPhone version, namely, Red, Gold with White Back Plate, and Black, which could be called 'Slate Grey' based on Apple's currently nomenclature for its handsets.
What about the screen, you ask? Well, we haven't photos of it. However, it is expected that this model - like its more expensive siblings, which Apple fans are now calling the Apple iPhone XS and Apple iPhone XS Max, will have all-screen face with notch similar to what we are currently seeing on the Apple iPhone X. Unlike the more pricey 2018 iPhone models, though, this Dual SIM variant will have a lower resolution display.
Dual SIM Dual Standby capability has been a staple feature of high-end Android smartphones that the iPhone has competed with through the years. This feature is revelant in so many markets around the world, especially in rapidly developing countries like India and the Philippines.
