Most Powerful Android Smartphones Based on Antutu Benchmark Test Score, As Of August 2018
Avid mobile gamers and power users, listen.
AnTuTu has just released its list of the best performance or most powerful Android smartphones based on the highest Antutu Benchmark Test scores that these devices got for the period ending last month, August 2018.
All of the smartphones in the Top 10 list are powered by the flagship-level Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor; Hence, the minimal difference in their marks. Eventually, it all boiled down to the amount of RAM as well as internal storage and more importantly, heat management, driver updates, and software optimization.
Gaming powerhouse Xiaomi Black Shark got the top spot with a score of 292,887. Its 8GB of RAM and Liquid Cooling Technology helped boost its mark, surpassing every other smartphone model out there as of writing.
Meizu 16 Plus, which flaunts a Notch-free 6.5-inch FullHD+ SuperAMOLED display, is at number 2. It remains to be seen whether Meizu's authorized distributor in our country will bring this one here.
Coming in at number 3 is Smartisan Nut R1, which is sadly not available here in the Philippines. I wish one local distribution company would take a chance on handsets made by this brand. Why not, right?
Flagship level Vivo NEX came in at number 4. This model is popular for its motorized camera module and all-screen face.
Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer, which has a larger internal storage space than the regular version, follows at number 5 with a score of 286,268.
The very gorgeous OPPO Find X with its beastly set of internal hardware - that's almost like that of a laptop - landed at the number 6 spot.
Flagship Killer OnePlus 6, which has a beautiful glass sandwich build as well as a powerful front and back cameras, still managed to be in the Top 7 position several months after its release.
Sporting an all-new S-Pen stylus that can work as a clicker as well as Dual Rear Camera module with variable aperture, Samsung Galaxy Note9 is at the number 8 spot, getting a mark of 282,958.
The regular Xiaomi Mi 8 landed at the Top 9 spot with its 272,527 score.
And finally, rounding up the Top 10, we have Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S, which is currently available in the Philippines for just PHP 27,990 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM version.
So there you have it! Do you own any of these powerhouse Android smartphones? What can you say about your unit? Let me know your thoughts via the comments section below. Feel free to also message me on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. Let's talk there! Cheers!
