Aside from unveiling the all-new Vivo V11 Android handset, Vivo Mobile Philippines shocked bloggers, members of the media, dealers, and fans who attended the phone's launch held at the Grand Ballroom of Shangri-La at The Fort in BGC Taguig City last night - September 11, 2018 - by also announcing an even more affordable variant of their hero midrange model for the second half of this year.
Despite lacking the In-Display Fingerprint Scanner, SuperAMOLED display, and 6GB RAM of the regular Vivo V11, the Vivo V11i still has enough compelling features to give competing devices in the mid-level bracket a big run for their money.
In terms of design and build, the Vivo V11i is more or less identical to the Vivo V11 with some differences here and there.
Vivo V11i's 6.3-inch FullHD+ LTPS display is 0.1 inch smaller than Vivo V11's SuperAMOLED panel. However, both phones' screens have comparable pixel density as well as extremely thin bezels -- also, they even have a small half-circle Halo Notch on top, housing the front-cam.
Not having an In-Display Fingerprint Sensor, Vivo V11i's squircle finger scanner at the back is perhaps its identifying physical characteristic when placed vis-a-vis the more expensive Vivo V11.
