Cherry Mobile Flare S7 Plus Camera Sample Photos and Selfies with Bokeh Effect
I made this post for those who are asking me just how good a cameraphone the all-new Cherry Mobile Flare S7 Plus is when it comes to everyday point and shoot photography.
Last Saturday - September 28, 2018, I went out with my mom like I always do to entertain her and to make her feel secure now that she has retired from work -- and luckily, I had my Cherry Mobile Flare S7 Plus in my pocket so I got the chance to use it to capture moments in our simple mother-son date.
Before I show you some of the resulting photos, let me talk about the camera specifications of this much-awaited flagship release from Cherry Mobile.
Cherry Mobile Flare S7 Plus sports a Dual Ream Camera module made up of a 16 MegaPixel primary rear camera - with OmniVision sensor, phase detection autofocus, and auto HDR mode - plus a secondary 5 MegaPixel cam that gets depth information.
This combo enables virtual Bokeh effect, wherein the background of the subject - in the foreground - is beautifully blurred to make the shot more interesting and visually pleasing.
In front, this model has a 16 MegaPixel camera with Auto-HDR and a companion Infrared sensor that gets depth information in shots for improved shallow depth effect in selfies and enhances the accuracy of the embedded Facial Recognition software by helping map out the contours of the user's face.
All cameras of Cherry Mobile Flare S7 Plus are powered by the company's own AI imaging technology that automatically figures out the subject in front of the lens and instantly adjusts color saturation, brightness, and highlights to deliver the best image possible.

Mom and I like buying trinkets and decorations for our house so we visited Papemelroti in SM City San Lazaro.

After shopping at those stores, we got hungry so we decided to eat dinner at Kenny Rogers in that same mall.

While waiting for our food to arrive, I took these selfie shots using the Bokeh or Shallow Depth of Field Effect plus AI Face Beautification of the 16MP front-facing camera.
I thought the selfie-cam was able to isolate me well from the background. I mean, look at the edges of my hair and jacket versus the softness of the shot behind me.
Now, meet my mom!

After that, mom told me that her legs were already feeling tired. So we decided to wrap up the great evening, head out, and go home.
