Realme Android Smartphones Will Be Available at Lazada Philippines Soon
Here's for those who've been waiting with baited breath for the arrival of Realme Android smartphones in the Philippines.
Within a few days from now, you should be able to purchase the latest handset models of this Chinese brand exclusive through its official online store in Lazada Philippines -- complete with warranty and after-sales support.
Last Wednesday - November 21, 2018, Realme and Lazada PH hosted an intimate gathering with Pinoy tech bloggers and local traditional media at High Street at BGC in Taguig City to announce their landmark partnership, which - in part - aims to boost the Filipino youth’s confidence in purchasing devices from online channels by offering high-quality and competitively priced products that can be conveniently availed of with just a few clicks.
According to Realme Philippines' Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Jacky Chen, "We see the requirements of the emerging young generation and the opportunities these entail. We started in India six months ago, but SEA is one of the most-important overseas markets for Realme. We are now present in Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and in the next few days, the Philippines."
He added, "We are very glad that we can now cater to a very vigorous market - the Filipino youth - who contributes tremendously to the growing trust of Filipinos in online shopping platforms. We are making sure that our products are available to this market and offer them at remarkably affordable prices."
On the other hand, Ms. Emmanuelle Chavarot, Lazada Philippines' Country Chief Business Officer, expressed her excitement about RealMe's imminent entry in the Philippines. She noted, "As a young smartphone brand, Realme offers an exciting portfolio that Lazada is only thrilled to bring to Filipinos online. Despite being just six months old, the smartphone brand made waves in the recent 11.11 Online Shopping Festival in Lazada Southeast Asia. Now in the Philippines, Realme and Lazada will conduct an in-depth, strategic level partnership to provide the best products with affordable price to the young generation. We believe we can deliver more together."
According to a recent consumer study done in the Philippines, more than 50 percent of Pinoys are now thinking about increasing their online purchases while 85 percent of those who are already shopping through the internet cite convenience as their primary reason for doing so.
Already tremendously successful in India and Indonesia, Realme - which initially became popular as an OPPO sub-brand - will be formally launched in the Philippines through an exclusive media event that will be held on November 29, 2018.
