Xiaomi Redmi 7 With 6GB of RAM and 128GB of Storage, Coming Soon?
On Monday - December 17, 2018, details about a new midrange smartphone from China called Xiaomi M1901F9T appeared on TENAA -- and now, many Mi fans are saying that the device could very well be the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi 7.
If that will turn out true, I have a feeling that this model will become the company's first major best-seller for 2019.
What made me say that? Well, looking at these renders and checking the list of leaked specs, this smartphone would be a real treat for mobile consumers if Xiaomi would price it more or less like its predecessor. If you remember, Xiaomi Redmi 6 4GB RAM version sold for just PHP 7,999 here in the Philippines.
According to various sources from China - who are mostly in social media sites, Xiaomi Redmi 7 will sport a 19:9 5.84-inch FullHD+ IPS display with Waterdrop-like Notch, a Dual Rear Camera Modules that enables Bokeh Effect in Portrait Mode, and a non-removable 2,900 mAh battery.
Under the hood, this new smartphone is expected to have a 2.3 GHz Octa Core processor and 3GB / 4GB / 6GB RAM options that are complemented by 32GB / 64GB / 128GB of internal storage.
In terms of design and build, this so-called Xiaomi Redmi 7 appears to look a lot like the popular Huawei Nova 3i without a gradient color finish.
In fact, sources claim that this model will be out in a such a wide variety of solid colors, namely, Gold, Silver, Gray, Blue, Red, Yellow, Black, White, Pink, Green, and Purple. For me, this could be a sign that Xiaomi is expecting this upcoming handset to be a big hit in key markets for entry-level and midrange smartphones like the Philippines.
