OPPO F11 Philippines Price and Release Guesstimate, Purported Specs and Features
In 2018, Chinese tech giant OPPO released two hero midrange Android smartphones in the Philippines.
OPPO F7 was officially launched in our country on April 19, 2018 while the OPPO F9 was formally released on August 15, 2018.
Studying the company's product timeline, I believe it's just about time for them to unveil a model which will serve as the follow-up to this well-received handset series.
Seemingly in cue, photos and videos of what insiders are already calling OPPO F11 are now starting to surface online.
Captured from a video uploaded by Sparrows News on Youtube on Monday - March 4, 2019, the photos that I have in this post show the gorgeous 2019 hero midrange device in Marble Green (with Blue to Green Vertical Gradient) and Flourite Purple (with Black to Purple Gradient).
According to various sources, some of the key features of the upcoming OPPO F11 include a 6.5-inch FullHD+ LTPS display with Waterdrop Notch, AI-Powered Dual Rear Camera Module made up of a 48 MegaPixel primary cam plus a 5MP Depth Sensor, 16 MegaPixel f/2.0 Front-Facing Selfie Snapper with AI Beauty technology, rear-mounted Fingerprint Scanner, MicroUSB 2.0 charging port, VOOC Flash Charge Technology, and a large 4,000 mAh Li-Po battery pack.
Under the hood, the OPPO F11 is expected to run its Color OS 6 skinned Android 9.0 Pie operating system with a powerful and energy-efficient 12nm Octa Core MediaTek Helio P70 processor that's complemented by 4GB of RAM for smooth multitasking and 128GB of expandable storage.
OPPO will also release a Pro version of this model with a Pop-Up Selfie Camera, Notch-Free Display, 6GB RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. Other specs will be the same.
OPPO Philippines has yet to release an official statement about the local availability of the OPPO F11 but I'm guessing that they are already planning for its launch within this month - March 2018 - or in early April 2018.
As for it price tag, I believe OPPO F11 should cost more or less like the OPPO F9 upon launch, which is roughly PHP 17,990, putting it in direct competition with other upcoming 2019 mid-level Android smartphones from Vivo, Huawei, and Xiaomi.
Update: Here are the official technical specifications of OPPO F11 courtesy of OPPO Mobile India. This model has just been officially launched in that territory along with the OPPO F11 Pro.
